OPEN CALL!
Call for contributions to the 5th edition of the anarcafeminist magazine Enemy of the Queen!
We propose the 5th edition of the magazine in the midst of a scenario of intensification of the social and political struggles in the Latin American context and of the radicalization of the repressive and authoritarian character of States in order to maintain at all costs the privileges of the bourgeoisie and its political class. The failure of the neoliberal model; the deepening of inequalities due to the Covid-19 sanitary crisis; the uncertainty of the future that awaits us; the increase in the number of people living below the poverty line; the genocide of the racist State against black, indigenous and immigrant populations is provoking widespread revolt, catalysed by political forces of the extreme right or left-wing political parties of a bourgeois order. Attempts to institutionalize conflicts are growing. Will this be the only possible path? Have we lost the capacity to imagine new worlds and other lifestyles capable of being experimented with and lived collectively?
What are the possible horizons that can be traced when we turn our gaze to the current political situation taking shape in Latin America? We are attentive to the struggles in the field of macropolitics, following, for example, the Peruvian presidential election of Castillo, the uprisings that have claimed the streets in Colombia against tax and health reforms, as well as our political polarization that traps autonomous projects and gives us the illusion that the only way out to the left is through partisan politics. By positioning ourselves as a magazine that operates in the field of discourse, we aim to give visibility to the narratives that operate from beyond the hegemony of institutionalized ideas. Our bet is on being a possible space for the circulation of materials that are inspired by the politics of everyday life, by the struggles seen through our eyes, felt body to body, in our blood, and in the heat of the actions done by us for us.
The magazine will be accepting contributions at ainimiga@riseup.net until the 16th of July. We ask that texts, poetry, poems, and works of visual art be submitted in the following formats:

*We cannot guarantee that all images sent (both those that accompany written texts and the works of visual art) will be used due to restrictions that the layout may pose during the magazine’s editing process. Keep in mind that the magazine will be printed using a risograph printer and this can interfere with the way the images will be displayed. If necessary, due to the layout and adaptation to the format and aesthetics of the 5th edition of the magazine, the works sent may be modified (they can be cropped, duplicated, resized to fit the page, according to our needs). Alterations will be made with a view to respecting the coherence of the work of art and in consultation with the author/artist.
We await the ideas, texts, works of art of all! shout! draw! sing! register all of the oppressions that we face, so that together we can put our ideas in the world and plant our seeds of rebellion, action and struggle!
